Borderlands 3: Beating the Quartermaster
Once players reach the Quartermaster they may realize that he isn’t a very high level for most players who have made it this far. At only 59 this should be a pretty easy fight for players to finish at the level they are most likely at. The issue here though is that players will also have to fight the Oaken Wolf at the same time, which is quite a bit stronger than the Quartermaster and can regenerate health once brought down. Players will want to stick with weapons that fire quickly and have a large amount of damage to bring down the Quartermaster as easily as possible. If the player happens to own one of the game’s legendary weapons, then this is the perfect time to break it out.
The trick here is that Oaken Wolf doesn’t have to be killed in order to finish the fight, but the Quartermaster does. So if players focus all of their fire on the Quartermaster they won’t have to worry about Oaken Wolf regenerating. With that in mind, the best strategy is to put as much distance between the player and Oaken Wolf as possible and keep heavy fire on the Quartermaster. Since he is pretty weak and doesn’t have many combat abilities, he will go down fairly quickly and the fight will be over. Shooting at Oaken Wolf is mostly just a waste of ammo, so players should probably just avoid the enemy as much as they possibly can.
